Iversity is an online learning platform for higher education and professional development courses provided by experts from all over Europe. Their interactive, entertaining courses are designed to enable thousands of participants from around the globe to learn with and from each other. Iversity believes that learning is an active, social process fueled by curiosity and works best when it is fun.
We supported Iversity in an organisational development process through a two-pronged approach. Firstly, we conducted an Organisational Scan to understand the character and needs of the organisation. This scan comprised desk research, interviews with relevant staff and a number of discussions with the organisation’s leadership, resulting in a brief report with recommendations. Secondly, we conducted a series of coaching sessions for Iversity’s management, to delve deeper into some of the issues identified. These sessions had the additional benefit of kick-starting the implementation of some of the recommendations from the Organisational Scan.
