Vereniging Van OnderzoeksJournalisten
The Vereniging Van OnderzoeksJournalisten (VVOJ) /Research Journalists Association, founded in 2002, employs over six hundred members in the Netherlands and Flanders: journalists, teachers and student journalists. Their goal is to promote quality and especially research journalism. Members include the internationally-employed power-makers as well as the investigative journalists in the region and novice colleagues who want to learn from the experts in the field. The UNHCR aims to provide all these journalists with an environment in which they can exchange experiences and ideas to help each other and further research journalism.
ODS conducted a forward-looking evaluation for the VVOJ. In this evaluation we looked into the role played by the VVOJ, the relevance of the original design of the organisation and the role of the UNHCR amongst other factors.
