Inmaculada Macías Alonso

Senior Consultant

Inmaculada is a Senior MERL Consultant at ODS with more than 10 years of experience conducting mixed-methods research and evaluations. She specializes in gender and diversity and has worked to further gender equality applying an intersectional lens. 

Before joining ODS, Inmaculada co-founded DialogueLabs, a consulting firm that specialized in helping organizations lead change and manage conflict effectively and she has consulted in the areas of education, leadership, digital inclusion, and the economic integration of women for clients in the public and private sectors in Europe, North and South America, and the Middle East, including UNWomen, the World Bank, and University of Chicago. She deeply cares about social impact and has volunteered long term for organizations such as Society of Gender Professionals, Red Cross, and Amnesty International, among others.

She holds a PhD in Organizational Behavior from IE University, a MA in Area Studies from Leiden University, and BAs in Political Science and Middle Eastern Studies from the Autonomous University of Madrid and UNED, with research stays at George Washington University, the Netherlands-Flemish Institute in Egypt, and CESA School of Business in Colombia. She spent three years as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School. Her work has been published in several peer-reviewed journals.
